Darcey Bussell and Katherine Jenkins announce ‘Viva La Diva’

Prima ballerina Darcey Bussell CBE and international opera superstar, Katherine Jenkins are thrilled to announce their plans to unite talents and create a musical called ‘Viva La Diva’. This fusion of song and dance promises to produce the unexpected – and it will!

Industry luminaries, including Kim Gavin, will direct the duo to enhance the expertise that has raised Darcey and Katherine to the top of their fields and will introduce new talents they have never before revealed in public.

Darcey says, “Ballet has been my focus for 28 years. Now I am stepping into a variety of different styles of dance that I have always had a passion to perform. Katherine’s voice has an exceptional quality and I’m very much looking forward to combining our very different talents”

Katherine says “I’ve admired Darcey since I was young, her movement and style are second to none and I’m thrilled to be working with her. We’re both excited to be learning so much about each other’s genres and I’m looking forward to working with Darcey on all creative aspects of the show”.
